About me

During my teenage years, I discovered my passion for music and guitar. I now have over 22 years of experience giving classical guitar lessons in The Hague at Gitaarkwartier and Muziekacademie Den Haag.

My musical taste has always been broad: rock, pop, metal, and world music. My older brother played in a rock band, which inspired me to start playing guitar. Hearing classical guitar for the first time was love at first chord.

I deliberately chose to study classical guitar: Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and Master at the Messiaen Academy (Artez) in Arnhem.
